Who should request it

ESTA is required for:

- Citizens of countries eligible for the Visa Waiver Program

- Travelers to the United States for short stays

(up to 90 days)

- Those travelling for tourism, business or transit

You must request it at least 72 hours before departure. It's recommended to request it further in advance to ensure adequate time for the inspection.
